England player set to miss the rest of the series and IPL

India is touring England right now and it has been a really tight contest right now. Both the teams have shown excellent skills and character.

The first test was played in Nottingham. It was all set to be an epic last day of the test match but rain had other plans. It ended in a draw. The second test match was played at the home of cricket. It saw a remarkable Indian victory where the Indian bowlers bowled England out within 60 overs on the last day to claim a famous victory.

The third test match in Leeds ended yesterday with a dominant England victory. English bowlers bowled India out for 78 in the first innings, then went on the score 432 runs and bowled India out again for 278. England won the test by an innings and 76 runs.

England will miss a key player in the last two tests against India

England cricket team is currently missing the services of Stuart Broad, Jofra Archer and Ben Stokes because of injury and personal reasons. One more key English player is set to miss the last two tests against India and its Jos Buttler.

Buttler is soon becoming a father again. And he has decided to take a paternity leave.

Asked about Buttler’s availability this week, Root said: ‘That will be cleared up in the next couple of days. Hopefully we can have some clarity on that and get that across to you as soon as that’s set in stone. I couldn’t tell you honestly either way at the minute. I don’t want to say one thing and it not turn out to be true.’

Last week Buttler admitted he might miss this winter’s Ashes series in Australia because of the uncertainty over whether players’ families will be able to travel to Australia. He has already announced that he won’t be participating in the rescheduled IPL too.

Buttler stated, ‘One of the challenges is working out where the line is where you say, “I can’t do that”. ‘I’ve sacrificed a lot for cricket and my wife and family have sacrificed a lot. You have to be open to saying no.’
